Today was our last day of clinic in Iquitos! It was another successful day and I was able to see many interesting cases and learned a lot. Over the four days in Iquitos, we treated 1863 patients and made many new friends. We then had a celebratory ceremony with the Mayor of Iquitos, where a local band and dancers preformed. Dr Willyerd was honored with the key to the city. We then had one final group meal at our favorite pizza place. I am excited for our adventures to continue in the Amazon!
